Auto care industry expects growth of 8.1 percent in 2023

The Auto Care Association has released the 2024 Auto Care Factbook, which includes insight on how the auto care industry continues to thrive amidst disruption. The automotive aftermarket is expected to reach $574 billion by 2026.

The Auto Care Association has released its award-winning publications, the 2024 Auto Care Factbook and the 2024 Auto Care Factbook & Lang Annual. These reports are the go-to source for automotive aftermarket industry data and include insight for aftermarket businesses to make informed, data-based decisions. 

This 33rd edition of the Auto Care Factbook report provides new data, including insight on how the auto care industry continues to thrive amidst disruption, the latest consumer and industry trends, expanded international market performance, and more.

In 2022, the auto care industry exceeded expectations in the face of looming recession concerns and supply chain challenges. The industry saw a growth of 9.7 percent. 

Substantial growth is expected in 2023 (8.1 percent), followed by steady and sustainable growth from 2024-2026 (3.5 percent-4 percent). By 2026, the automotive aftermarket is now expected be a $573.8 billion industry.
