Audi Engine Idle Speed May be Too High

This bulletin applies to 2019 Audi A6 and A7 vehicles equipped with a 3.0L engine. The engine idle speed may be abnormally high and the MIL may be on.

This bulletin applies to 2019 Audi A6 and A7 vehicles equipped with a 3.0L engine. The engine idle speed may be abnormally high and the MIL may be on.

DTC P050700 (idle RPM higher than expected) may be stored in the ECM. ECM/TCM idle torque strategy can cause the engine speed to increase under certain driving conditions.

Perform a throttle body adaption manually through Guided Functions in the 01 Module (ECM). Once successfully adapted, test drive to verify idle operation and reoccurrence of any fault codes.
