"From an early age, my fascination with cars and their mechanics set the course for my future. I spent countless hours disassembling and reassembling cars, fueling a growing curiosity about automotive. This early interest evolved into a serious commitment, leading me to work on various personal automotive projects.
"As technology rapidly evolves the constant need for learning new tools and skills can be overwhelming. The industry should prioritize accessible and affordable training solutions, such as online courses and virtual workshops to better support technicians.
"Employers should also invest in mentorship programs. Improving collaboration and knowledge sharing are essential. Encouraging technicians to exchange experiences and solutions can foster a culture of mutual continuous learning and improvement.
"Training programs should focus on soft skills alongside technical education. Problem-solving, communication, and adaptability — by equipping technicians with both hard and soft skills, the industry can better prepare us for the future.
"Shops need to focus on creating a balanced work environment that supports technicians' well-being. Workload and stress are pressing concerns for technicians, and employers can help prevent burnout and improve overall job satisfaction."
