Fleets will have access to MICHELIN X One tires at over 200 additional nationwide locations

Michelin Americas Truck Tires today announced an agreement with TravelCenters of America (TA), operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers branded travel centers, that will add even more MICHELIN X One tire availability to the existing strong network of servicing dealers and travel plazas. These additional TA/Petro locations will expand the total number of MICHELIN X One servicing dealers to nearly 2000 locations nationwide.

"TA has a comprehensive offering for drivers and fleets. Michelin is looking forward to working with the TA/Petro network to offer the fuel and weight savings benefits of the MICHELIN X One tire to their customers," said Vic Koelsch, chief operating officer, Michelin Americas Truck Tires. "Through the MICHELIN ONCall network, fleets running MICHELIN X One tires have comparable road availability to that of our dual tires. The addition of over 200 TA locations and 450 service trucks will strengthen MICHELIN X One's coverage even more, helping increase our customers' uptime and solidifying the X One tire as an overall solution."

TA will be offering several MICHELIN X One tire offerings including the MICHELIN X One XDA ENERGY, X One XDN2, and X One XTA in the 445/50R22.5 size and the MICHELIN X One XTE in the 455/55R22.5 size at over 200 travel centers across the United States beginning in September.

"We are pleased to have entered this agreement with Michelin and to be able to offer our fleet and owner-operator customers the widest available variety of tire replacement choices," said Tom O'Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters.
