Klein Tools introduced the Infrared Digital Thermometer with Targeting Laser, 10:1, No. IR1, an infrared thermometer with a targeting laser, providing a wide measurement range for hard-to-reach areas.

Features of the IR1:

  • Optical resolution (distance-to-spot) 10:1
  • FDA and IEC Class 2 targeting laser
  • Measurement range of -4 degrees to 752 degrees F (-20 degrees to 400 degrees C)
  • User selectable temperature scales of Fahrenheit or Celcius
  • Easy-to-view backlit display
  • Emissivity at 0.95 fixed
  • Drop protection to 6.6’ (2m)

The Infrared Digital Thermometer with Targeting Laser, 10:1, No. IR1, is not a medical device; it is not intended for use on people or animals.

“With the IR1, we designed an infrared thermometer that could be used for both temperature inspections and troubleshooting,” said Sabrina Kalsi, product manager at Klein Tools. “A wide measurement range paired with the 10:1 distance-to-spot ratio, with a targeting laser makes it a simple-to-use product. The backlit display easily changes from Fahrenheit to Celsius, simplifying readings no matter what type of job you’re working on.”
