Mercedes-Benz is recalling certain 2021-2023 C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, CLS, SL, GT, GLC, GLE, GLS, and G-Class vehicles.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the fuel pump may shutdown, which can result in a loss of drive power. NHTSA advices owners to refer to Mercedes-Benz's recall report for specific vehicle details (model and model years listed below).

To remedy the situation, dealers will replace the fuel pump at no cost to the owner. Notification letters are expected to be mailed August 25, 2023.

Owners may contact Mercedes-Benz customer service at 1-800-367-6372 with any questions or concerns.

To check to see if your vehicle has an open recall, visit NHTSA's website and enter the vehicle's 17-digit vehicle identification number.
