If a 2020 or later F-150 has the check engine light on and DTC P0451 is stored, and there appears to be no drivability issues, it’s possible that this indicates that the fuel tank pressure sensor needs to be replaced.

If a 2020 or later F-150 has the check engine light on and DTC P0451 is stored, and there appears to be no drivability issues, it’s possible that this indicates that the fuel tank pressure sensor needs to be replaced.

This does require dropping the fuel tank, so if possible, urge the customer to deliver the vehicle with as little fuel as possible to make life a bit easier and safer when handling the fuel tank.
