XToolUSA, an automotive aftermarket diagnostic solution supplier, is offering free weekly live training sessions and introductory presentations via Zoom on their new Key Making System. The training sessions enable shop owners and technicians to ask questions, obtain information, and watch the machines in action.
The Key Making System is made up of three main components. First, is the Nitro Scan Tool/Key Programmer. Second, is the Triton Key Cutting Machine with on-screen instructions and automated cutting. The third component is keys. Keys come in the Nitrous Complete Remote Bundle and key building kit. The kit covers 80 percent of the most common vehicle types and includes 170 remotes and hundreds of transponder keys.
The system is easy to use but like all automated computer-controlled tools, training is ideal and recommended. Shop owners and technicians are encouraged to sit in on the seminars, even before they purchase, to learn the simple task of making keys for their customers to cash in on the in-shop services trend.
Training topics include:
- Identifying the right key or remote.
- General overview of the equipment and consumables that come with your system.
- Duplicating an existing key.
- Making keys that you lost (or without the original key).
- How to price the key, remote, cutting, and programming services.
- Which key programmer is right for your shop.
- Initial setup and calibration of the Triton CNC key cutting machine.
- Getting more consumables and the easy to reorder system.
- Where to get your keys and remotes - not all sources are the same.
Large shops, organizations, and salespeople can request special sessions with targeted topics customized for the group. The XToolUSA studio is also available for in person training at their Las Vegas facility, located five blocks off the strip. To set up a session, contact XToolUSA at 855-562-5522 extension 255 or email [email protected] and ask for a link to the seminar.
