1. Consider choosing a test date more than four days in the future

In order to give yourself time to download and install the Chrome browser and ProProctor application, ASE suggests selecting a test date more than four days in the future. Complete the system readiness check to confirm that your computer or laptop meets system and resolution requirements, and connect a movable web camera.

2. Make sure your times are accurate

Read the appointment confirmation email or registration ticket to ensure that the selected date, time including AM/PM, and test(s) are accurate. These documents will contain important need-to-know information as well.

3. Find a quiet, well-lit place to take the test

Before the day of your assessment, find a room in your home or business that is well-lit with solid walls and a solid door that can be closed. This room or space should be clutter-free.

4. Ensure that no one is in the room, including pets

Be sure that the environment you choose to take the assessment in is free from all distractions including people and pets. No one should enter the room once testing has begun.

5. Review remote testing user guide

Before the day of your assessment, review the remote testing user guide. The guide link is included on your registration ticket and in your confirmation email.
