The accredited automotive school is using the two leading forms of social media to communicate directly with car enthusiasts and prospective students while highlighting the curriculum offered at OTC.
"Having a presence on these social media sites allows us to expand our reach to those interested in a career in the automotive industry," said Tom King, V.P. of enrollment management/technical training at OTC. "We use Facebook as an extension of our website, www.OhioTech.edu, while Twitter gives us the ability to provide a virtual window on what we teach here at Ohio Technical College."
OTC's Facebook page currently features school announcements, photos of student projects, videos and links to industry stories.
