Over the past 25 years, the University of the Aftermarket Foundation has provided funding for aftermarket educational courses, research and scholarships made possible by generous contributions from many industry firms and individuals. The foundation seeks to grow its donor list in order to enhance support for worthy educational programs.
"Education has a positive, stabilizing influence on an industry, and the aftermarket is no different," said Rusty Bishop, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. "The foundation has funded millions of dollars in scholarships, grants and ongoing educational programs to help develop future industry leaders. It's very clear that our investment in education has paid off and should be increased to attract more talented individuals to the aftermarket."
"It is in the best interest of every company who does business in the aftermarket to join with us to help attract and develop a talented, knowledgeable work force," said Bishop. "Education is the key to a successful future for the aftermarket and together we can make a big difference."
