The Automotive Training Managers Council(ATMC), in conjunction with the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), is conducting an annual survey to establish training benchmarks within the auto and heavy-vehicle service and repair industry. The process involves parallel surveys sent to training providers and to training consumers (working technicians, service advisors, shop managers, and parts distribution personnel). The survey is designed to establish a series of metrics to help the industry recognize trends, provide a comparison standard, and align the offerings of training providers with the needs of training consumers. The survey focuses on training delivery methods. The results will be presented at the ATMC Conference April 15-17, 2013 and posted on the ATMC website www.atmc.org following the conference.
