Nissan to show wearable telematics technology at automotive content conference

The Nismo smartwatch from Nissan is set to monitor vehicle performance as well as driver’s heart rate, temperature and biometrics, representing a potential watershed moment for vehicle connectivity, according to Telematics Update, a telematics conference organizer. "Wearable technology is fast becoming the next big thing and we want to take advantage of this innovative technology," said Gareth Dunsmore, marketing communications general manager at Nissan, Europe.
