Applications for automotive scholarships funded by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation are being accepted through March 31.
Applicants can apply online and must be pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket by attending a full-time program at an accredited college, university, or ASE/NATEF certified post-secondary automotive, collision or heavy duty technician training program.
Last year, the University of the Aftermarket Foundation awarded 110 scholarships to 98 students. In 2014, the University of the Aftermarket Foundation plans to once again award over $100,000 of scholarship funds.
"The scholarship application deadline is approaching quickly, so we encourage all interested candidates to log on and apply right away," said Rusty Bishop, AAP, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. "It is very encouraging to see the high caliber of applicants interested in pursuing a career in our industry, and we are very pleased to award scholarships to so many recipients each year."
