The University of the Aftermarket has announced that Basic and Advanced Aftermarket Data Standards will be offered November 18-20 at the Northwood University facility in Troy, Mich. Participants may take the basic or advanced program, or both. The program was developed for aftermarket catalog managers and product information professionals seeking to sharpen their knowledge and implementation of industry data standards.
The Basic program will be held Nov 18-19, with the one-day advanced session following immediately. This optional day of Advanced training will include a detailed analysis of the ACES reference database design, techniques for converting flat files to XML and proper procedures for managing ACES and PIES file changes from month to month.
The registration fee for the Basic program is $595. Those taking the Basic program may add the optional Advanced program for an additional $149. For those who want to take only the Advanced program only, the registration fee is $249.
Instructors are current and former members of the Technology Standards Committee and principal architects of the ACES and PIES standards. This course is designed to satisfy the training requirement for the Automotive Catalog Professional (ACP) designation offered by the University of the Aftermarket for the members of the National Catalog Managers Association (NCMA).
