Miller Electric Mfg. Co. will host a free workshop on welding automation May 23 and 24 in Carol Stream, Illinois.

The event will focus on welding automation for first-time users and provide a better understanding of how automation can help increase competitiveness, maximize profitability and improve quality in welding operations.

For companies that are considering welding automation for their operation, the workshop is an opportunity to learn more about the benefits of the technology and how to gain the fastest return on investment.

Both days, the workshop will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and feature educational sessions. Topics to be covered include the following: when to automate and why, how to select an automation system, getting the fastest return on investment, training and support, and automation tooling.

In addition, the event will include live demonstrations of automation solutions, including PerformArc robotic arc welding systems, Continuum industrial welding solutions, Insight Welding Intelligence and Tregaskiss robotic MIG guns and reamers.
