HDMA, MacKay to host sixth annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue Conference

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association, the Heavy Duty division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), has announced the 6th annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at The Mirage in Las Vegas, NV, immediately preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week '18. HDAD is co-presented by the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay & Company. The day-long conference is scheduled to be held in the Terry Fator Theater from 8:00am-4:30pm. 

As one of three in HDMA's Heavy Duty Dialogue Series, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue program will provide insight and a forward look at the heavy duty aftermarket, with an introduction by Tim Kraus of HDMA and Stu MacKay of MacKay & Company, an aftermarket industry forecast by MacKay & Company, and a market and economic update, with financial expert, Bill Strauss, of the Chicago Federal Reserve.

In the presentation titled, "The Global Economy - The Growing Interdependence",Strauss will provide a focus on the growing interdependence of individual global economies, providing a historical, present and anticipated future outlook in key geographic regions. He will also discuss what is driving - or hindering - the interrelationship between countries, including the hot-button current topics of NAFTA Renegotiation, BREXIT and the EU impact, if any, as well as the impact of the Korean turmoil on China and what to potentially expect all of these factors to impact the truck industry as we know it today.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue features individual presenters and separate distribution executive panel-discussions with primary topics that include:
