The Motorist Assurance Program (MAP), a non-profit association dedicated to establishing trust between motorists and automotive repair service providers, announced the unveiling of their all new website. This website is designed to better educate consumers on their vehicle and its systems as well as connect motorists with service providers who have agreed to participate in the MAP Process. This process focuses on improving transparency and trust and guides service providers through a consistent vehicle inspection utilizing thousands of standards resulting in recommendations that are communicated in a way a motorist understands.
The site incorporates a design that allows viewers to see and gather information no matter what device they access the site from, be it smart phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. In addition to informing motorists on the MAP inspection/selling process and local shops in their area, the site includes the ability for motorists to check for safety and other recalls on their vehicles, learn about critical information related to vehicle ownership that includes extensive education on vehicle systems – both through helpful videos and animations that show how today’s vehicle systems work – as well as a library of automotive related articles that help motorists with vehicle ownership and vehicle service.
