Timken expands Tricks of the Trade video series

Five videos, focused on commercial vehicles, have been added to the Tricks of the Trade video series.

The Timken Company launched five new Tricks of the Trade videos focusing on commercial and light vehicles. Tricks of the Trade videos are automotive training tips provided by Timken to automotive technicians and students in the field. Each video has a corresponding TechTip that can be printed. The new videos cover:

Commercial Vehicle Tricks of the Trade

Symptoms of worn commercial vehicle hub bearings

Regular inspection and maintenance can reduce bearing damage in conventional wheel ends and decrease long-term costs. This video can help viewers identify signs and symptoms of worn wheel hub bearings.

Identifying wheel end systems

There are three main types of wheel end systems, which determine the type of service necessary: adjustable, pre-adjusted, and unitized. This video can help viewers determine the appropriate wheel end system and tips for proper bearing adjustment.
