Owners of some GM models may comment about a check engine light on during or after a crank-no-start event or a hard start/extended crank event. DTC P0336 may be set.

If this concern is encountered and the engine is now starting fine, it is possible that the concern is fuel or injector related and the P0336 is a result of the no-start, and not the cause of it. Verify the fuel quality and injectors before replacing the crank sensor or the ECM.
