Some 2014-2018 Toyota Corolla vehicles equipped with a 2ZR-FE or 2ZR-FAE engine may exhibit a MIL on condition, the DTC P2420 (evaporative emission pressure switching valve stuck off).

Some 2014-2018 Toyota Corolla vehicles equipped with a 2ZR-FE or 2ZR-FAE engine may exhibit a MIL on condition, the DTC P2420 (evaporative emission pressure switching valve stuck off).

If P2420 is stored, replace the charcoal canister assembly and install the new filter sub-assembly.

Clear all DTCs and run the EVAP system check utility (Engine and ECT > Utility > EVAP System Check).
