When servicing a 2014 Porsche Cayenne equipped with a 4.8L engine’s fuel injection system, be aware that the injector O-ring can be damaged by the clamping ring.

In the event of a leak, in addition to replacing the O-ring, the clamping ring must also be replaced by a new type of clamping ring.

The new design clamping ring is installed as of production date May 9, 2016. The 2014 and 2015 models should be serviced with the new clamping ring, P/N 946.110.328.31, along with O-ring 999.701.187.40.
