This bulletin applies to 2009-2013 Mazda6 vehicles. Some vehicles may experience the check engine light on with DTC P1450:00 (unable to bleed fuel tank vacuum) stored in memory. The concern may be caused by the purge valve, which has since been modified to eliminate the concern.

This bulletin applies to 2009-2013 Mazda6 vehicles. Some vehicles may experience the check engine light on with DTC P1450:00 (unable to bleed fuel tank vacuum) stored in memory. The concern may be caused by the purge valve, which has since been modified to eliminate the concern.

Of the concern has been verified, replace the purge solenoid valve with the modified part, available as P/N CA07-20-370H.  Follow the instructions on MS3 online or the shop manual (section 01-16 PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION).
