This bulletin applies to 2007 BMW 335i models, equipped with the N54 engine and produced from 6-1-2006 through 9-15-2006. The complaint may involve a slight bucking under acceleration or when pulling away after a cold start. This situation may occur only on a cold engine and is primarily noticeable in gears 1-3, up to an engine speed of 3000 RPM. Both manual and automatic transmission equipped vehicles may be affected.

 This bulletin applies to 2007 BMW 335i models, equipped with the N54 engine and produced from 6-1-2006 through 9-15-2006. The complaint may involve a slight bucking under acceleration or when pulling away after a cold start.

This situation may occur only on a cold engine and is primarily noticeable in gears 1-3, up to an engine speed of 3,000 rpm. Both manual and automatic transmission equipped vehicles may be affected.

The cause is DME software calibration.

Reprogram using Program V23.01.00 or higher.
