Upon inspection, DTC B101D and B390C may be found in the Long Range Sensor Module (LRSM). If a Radar Sensor Module-Long Range Learn procedure is attempted, the procedure may not complete. This may be due to the LRSM being misaligned due to a loose mounting bracket.
Check the LRSM bracket for looseness by attempting to move it by hand to check for loose mounting bolts. If any movement is found, the module will need to be properly adjusted.
Remove the front fascia/bumper cover.
Place a digital or bubble level on the face of the LRSM and adjust it to within 2 degrees or vertical/straight up and down.
Tighten the four bracket bolts to 22 in.-lbs. (2.5 Nm).
After confirming proper mounting, perform the LRSM learning procedure following direction in the service manual.
