This bulletin applies to 2018-2019 Chevy Corvette models that exhibit reduced engine power. One possible cause is a pinched wire harness.

The harness branch from the main body wiring harness to the accelerator pedal may be pinched underneath the dead-pedal bracket. There may be an intermittent check engine light and reduced power.

Remove the driver footrest. Remove the left front side door sill garnish molding. Lift the front floor carpet to access the footrest mounting bracket area. Inspect the harness branch from the main body wiring harness to the accelerator pedal. Verify if the branch is pinched underneath the footrest mounting bracket.

If the harness is pinched, remove the footrest mounting bracket bolt. Inspect the wiring harness for damage and repair as necessary. Route the harness branch to ensure that it is not trapped under the mounting bracket. Reinstall the footrest mounting bracket bolt to 53 in.-lbs. and reassemble.
