Upgrade Dodge Propeller Shaft to Stop Whine

This bulletin applies to 2015-2016 Dodge Charger/Challenger vehicles built before Oct. 15, 2015 and before March 26, 2016 equipped with a 6.2L V8 supercharged engine and 2.62 or 3.70 rear axle ratio and anti-spin differential. The propeller shaft may exhibit a whining noise at high speed. Chrysler offers an upgraded propeller shaft to address the concern.

Inspect the propeller shaft label. If an old part number is found (per the above list), replace the shaft with the newly updated shaft.
