Check on Toyota Brake Pad Thickness

Some 2009-2018 Toyota RAV4 and 2017-2018 iM vehicles may exhibit a groaning noise from the front brake pads. An updated pad kit is now available. Check existing brake pad thickness. If the pads are not below the minimum specification of one mm, order the updated pads.

Measure the front brake rotor outer diameter to obtain the correct updated brake pads.

First, measure the front brake rotor diameter to obtain the correct pads. If the rotor diameter measures 11.65 inches (296mm), order pad set 04465-42210. If the rotor diameter is 10.82 inches (275mm), order pad set 04465-42220.
