Bad Sensor on Ford F-150

Some 2010 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a 4.6L or 5.4L engine, 2011-2012 F-150 equipped with a 5.0L engine, F-Super Duty equipped with a 5.4, 6.2 or 6.8L engine, and built on or before 4/1/2012 may exhibit DTC P2270 or P2272. (catalyst monitor sensor bank 1 or 2).

Some 2010 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with a 4.6L or 5.4L engine, 2011-2012 F-150 equipped with a 5.0L engine, F-Super Duty equipped with a 5.4, 6.2 or 6.8L engine, and built on or before 4/1/2012 may exhibit DTC P2270 or P2272. (catalyst monitor sensor bank 1 or 2).

Using the IDS (integrated diagnostic system) scan tool or equivalent, retrieve all continuous memory DTCs. If P2270 or P2272 are present, replace only the affected catalyst monitor sensor as indicated by the DTC.

F85Z-9G444-F........ 2010 f-150 4.6, 5.4L (RH/LH bank for 4x2 and electric transfer case 4x4, and RH only for manual transfer case 4x4.

BL3Z-9G444-A........ 2011-2012 f-150 5.0L

BL3Z-9G444-B.........2012 f-Super Duty 6.2L

9L3Z-9G444-B...........2010 F-150 4.6, 5.4 LH only
