Rattle With Toyota RAV4 Comes From Transaxle

This bulletin applies to some 2009-2011 Toyota RAV4 vehicles equipped with the 2AR-FE engine and a four-speed automatic transaxle. 

Some 2009-2011 Toyota RAV4 vehicles equipped with the 2AR-FE engine and four-speed automatic transaxle (2WD and 4WD) might exhibit a rattle noise from the transaxle assembly between 25-35 mph. The ECM logic has been revised to address this condition. The new calibration for 2WD vehicles is 342F0200. The new calibration for 4WD vehicles is 342F1200.
