Small Leak Causes Nissan Issue

This bulletin applies to all 2008 and newer Nissan vehicles except Leaf and Titan XD with a V8 diesel engine.

This bulletin applies to all 2008 and newer Nissan vehicles except LEAF and Titan XD with a V8 diesel engine.

The MIL may be on with DTC P0456 (EVAP very small leak).

This bulletin applies if:

DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap

An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister

The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause

Replace the vent control valve as an assembly. The vent control valve O-ring seal is no longer available as a service part.
