Fixing Washer Fluid Message on Buick

Buick Cascade vehicles from 2016 may seem to run out of washer fluid with no message on the instrument cluster due to the XML code for the cluster did not have "Low Washer Fluid" message enabled.

If you encounter a 2016 Buick Cascada vehicle where the owner says that they run out of windshield washer fluid but did not receive a message on the instrument cluster, this may be due to the XML code for the cluster did not have “Low Washer Fluid” message enabled.

If this is the case, perform IPC – Configuration & Setup. Refer to instrument cluster programming and setup in the service manual (SI).
