This bulletin applies to 2016-2023 Chevy Camaros equipped with an LT1 or LT4 engine. The engine may be running hot and/or has a tick noise from the thermostat area. You may find that the engine had been previously serviced, where the head(s) have been removed and reinstalled. This condition may be caused by the cylinder head gasket(s) being installed incorrectly.

Inspect the position of the head gaskets’ locating tabs to determine if the gaskets have been installed backwards. The head gasket locating tabs for both gaskets should be located forward toward the front of the engine. If installed incorrectly, this will restrict coolant flow.
