Here’s a tip from Honda. Should software errors develop, which can happen from something like a low battery or interrupted learn procedure, it can cause all sorts of odd electrical problems that can be hard to troubleshoot. If you have such a problem, try doing a battery cable reset.
Before you start, make sure the battery is fully charged. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK and remove the key. This lessens the chance of a voltage spike. Disconnect the battery negative cable first, then disconnect the positive cable. Short the battery cables together with a jumper wire. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait for 10 minutes. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK and remove the key. Remove the jumper wire and reconnect the battery cables - the positive cable first, then the negative cable. Check ISIS and perform the required reset/relearn procedures for the specific vehicle. Enter the anti-theft code and restore the customer’s settings.
