This bulletin applies to 2019 Chevy Blazer vehicles equipped with automatic braking.

Some customers may comment on the brakes applying unwanted. At times, while driving at speeds of 11 miles-per-hour or less, the brakes may apply, bringing the vehicle to an abrupt stop.

The customer may note that there were no objects around the vehicle that would activate automatic braking. The technician may or may not be able to duplicate the concern.

The cause of the condition may be the Intelligent Brake Assist system activating unnecessarily. Reprogram the Active Safety Control Module with updated software.

Refer to K124 Active Safety Control Module: programming and setup in the service manual.
