Certain 2017-2022 Model 3 and 2019-2022 Model Y vehicles may require a software update to ensure that the automatic window reversal system complies with regulatory standards.

'Inspect the vehicle software version and if necessary update the vehicle software to version 2023.2.12 or later. If update is needed, use software correction code S022270002. On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls (vehicle icon) > Software, and then scroll down to display the vehicle software version.
