After performing a brake inspection, brake pad replacement or any other repair that requires the caliper piston to be re-seated may cause DTC C05B0 (hydraulic circuit concern) to falsely set for eBoost (electro-hydraulic braking system) applications.

Refer to the diagnostic procedures for this DTC and verify that there are no leaks in the brake system before proceeding.

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

2. Make sure that the brake pads are fully seated to the rotors and that the brake pedal is firm. If the brake pedal is firm and the pads are fully seated, reconnect the battery cable. If not, gradually apply the brake pedal to approximately 2/3 of its travel distance. Wait 15 seconds and repeat until the brake pedal is firm and the pads are fully seated. Then reconnect the battery cable.
