This bulletin applies to 2020-2023 Buick Encore GX vehicles equipped with an L3T/L3Z engine and M3F transmission. A rear-drive motor DTC C0095 may be set. A Service All-Wheel Drive System message will be displayed on the dash. Upon the next full ignition cycle the AWD function will be restored.

If the message is displayed, the AWD system will be disabled. The cause of the condition may be the e-motor (actuator) issue, along with RDCM SW&HW wiring harness. Update the rear differential clutch control module with the latest version.

Check the wiring harness connection between RDCM and the e-motor and connector reconnection. If that does not solve the issue, replace the rear axle differential lock control actuator, P/N 42839345.
