This bulletin applies to 2021-2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles built on or after Nov. 11, 2021, and on or before Jan. 1, 2022, equipped with a 5.7l V8 VVT engine. The MIL may be on. DTC P0441 (EVAP purge system performance) and/or P0452 (EVAP pressure switch A stuck closed) may be stored.

Inspect the purge hose at the intake manifold. Is the purge tube pushed too far into the elbow?

If so, pull the nylon tube from the rubber elbow until the bead is positioned at the edge of the elbow.

Ensure that the elbow is seated properly at the intake manifold port.
