Some 2020-2021 Ford F-Super Duty trucks equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit a low-speed downshift concern with automatic engine braking enabled.

This may be due to the software in the transmission control module (TCM). Reprogram the TCM and PCM using the latest software level of the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool.
