This bulletin applies to a recall involving 2018-2021 Ford Expedition vehicles built in the Kentucky truck plant, 2018-2020 F-150 and F-150 Raptor vehicles built in the Dearborn and Kansas City plants, and 2018-2023 Mustangs built in the Flat Rock plant.

Some affected vehicles were repaired with a service replacement EPAS gear and may have the secondary digital torque sensor in the steering gear calibrated with an inverted polarity on the secondary sensor and may cause the steering wheel to begin oscillating without warning when attempting to steer, due to the EPAS providing unintended steering assist.
