According to a report from AIM Group, the online startup was founded in January 2022, and aims to revolutionize the used auto parts market by addressing critical challenges in price transparency and market inefficiencies. The funding round saw participation from 6G Capital and Galadari Brothers, a prominent UAE-based Mazda dealership.
CEO Zarir Saifuddin highlighted the company's strategic vision, stating, "Our immediate goal is to become the biggest supplier of used car parts in the country. Given that the UAE is a global trade hub for these parts, we are well positioned to become the largest used-car-part supplier in the world."
The startup's innovative platform aggregates market prices for used auto parts, providing garages with real-time pricing information. This approach tackles a significant industry pain point, as pricing for used parts can vary dramatically between different suppliers.
Mohammed Galadari, co-chairman of Galadari Brothers, explained their investment rationale: "The sheer scale of the regional used-car-part market, combined with BuyAnyAutoPart's innovative solution to sourcing parts for non-dealership insurance accident repairs, made them an ideal early investment for us."
By creating a transparent marketplace, BuyAnyAutoPart seeks to streamline the used auto parts procurement process, potentially reducing costs and improving efficiency for automotive repair businesses across the UAE and beyond.
