The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. has named JC Washbish its new chief executive officer effective January 1, 2025, Washbish will continue in his role as president, a position he assumed in early 2024. He advanced through several leadership positions, including director of marketing in 2017 and vice president of sales and marketing in 2019, before being named president in 2024.
"We continue to be impressed with JC's leadership, passion, and drive," said Eli N. Futerman, chairman of the Alliance Board of Directors and co-owner of Hahn Automotive Warehouse, Inc.
Todd Leimenstoll, Alliance Board Director and President & CEO of Auto-Wares Group of Companies, added that Washbish "has proven to be a strong leader, facilitating industry collaboration."
Washbish brings significant educational credentials to the position, holding a Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. His industry expertise is further demonstrated by his AAP designation from the University of the Aftermarket and his status as a Leadership 2.0 graduate. Recently, he was recognized with the 2024 Northwood University Automotive Aftermarket Education Award.
Washbish succeeds his father, John R. Washbish, who served as CEO from 2010 to 2024 and will continue to serve the Alliance in an advisory capacity. The elder Washbish followed Richard "Dick" Morgan, who led the organization from 1994 to 2009.
