Dorman Products, Inc. has appointed Tayfun Uner president of its light duty business segment, effective January 6, 2025. In this newly-created position, Uner will oversee strategic growth and all commercial and operational aspects of the company's largest business segment.
Uner brings extensive global consumer goods experience to Dorman, most recently serving as senior vice president of three Newell Brand business units. His prior experience includes strategic positions at McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble, and Carlsberg Breweries. He holds degrees from Bogazici University and Harvard Business School.
"His broad experience and proven ability to drive growth, enhance financial performance and foster a positive culture will be key to driving the continued success of our Light Duty business," said Kevin Olsen, Dorman President and CEO. The appointment completes Dorman's segment transition, establishing formalized leadership for each of its three business segments.
Dorman Products, headquartered in Colmar, Pennsylvania, has provided automotive aftermarket solutions for over 100 years. The company specializes in replacement parts ranging from chassis components to complex electronics for cars, trucks, and specialty vehicles.
