The 3.5L EcoBoost EMR ProKit facilitates the extraction of broken exhaust manifold mounting studs/bolts in Ford 3.5L EcoBoost engines found in models such as Ford Expedition, F-150 Series, Ford Transit and Lincoln Navigator. In addition, the 3.5L EcoBoost EMR ProKit allows technicians to remove broken screw extractors without taking off the cylinder head. The ProTap, included in the 3.5L EcoBoost EMR ProPlus Kit, lets users chase the threads with a tap and restore the cylinder head to factory-new condition. Also included in the ProPlus Kit is the PowerCut Pack, which contains the Platinum PPM188 bits that allow the users to bore through hard material such as titanium fasteners, broken screw extractors, drill bits, and taps.

Origin
Due to the extreme temperatures the EcoBoost twin turbo chargers create, manifold bolts often fracture, becoming hardened beyond the capability of removal by welding or conventional drill bits. ProMAXX Tool solved this problem with premium gold and platinum tooling to cut through the hardest of materials including titanium, boron, and ultra high strength steel, the company says.
The Elizabeth ProKit does away with the labor intensive need to remove and replace the cylinder head while eliminating the cost of replacement parts.
