Application

The Ingersoll Rand 3/4" Impact Wrench, No.2146Q1MAX, has an easy, ergonomic design that is ideal for a broad range of work environments such as light commercial where applications include maintenance on tires, brakes, and suspension, and general industrial applications where technicians work on pipe and flange fittings or bolt clamps.

Features and benefits

  • The 2146Q1MAX delivers 2,000 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque and 1,450 ft-lbs of maximum reverse torque through its feather-touch trigger, making it a flexible and powerful tool that is ready to handle almost any application.
  • The built-in pressure gauge ensures optimal performance, and that excessive pressure does not cause premature wear on the tool. Conversely, it lets the technician know when the tool is underpowered. This helps preserve the life of the tool and minimizes lifetime service costs. The easy-to-read 3-color gauge indicates the different pressure zones: red zone for over 90 PSIG, which may cause excessive wear on the tool; green zone for optimum torque and tool life; and yellow zone indicates the tool is underpowered.
  • Everything on the tool has been rigorously tested, and the steel hammer case can withstand the drops and everyday abuse from the most demanding work environments.

 Selling points

Possessing enough power to do almost any job, the 2146Q1MAX 3/4” Impact Wrench brings maximum performance, comfort, and durability to heavy equipment, industrial, and light commercial applications. The built-in pressure gauge helps prevent operation below and above the recommended 90 psi air pressure – helping it last longer and operate more reliably. Less stress on the tool allows you to work more and spend less. With its cold-forged twin hammer impact mechanism, motor, and hard anodized endplates, the impact wrench delivers 2,000 ft-lbs of nut-busting torque.

The 2146Q1MAX 3/4" is built to last. Every part of the 2146Q1MAX, from its pistol grip design to the patented one-hand forward-reverse function has been designed for comfort, reliability, and maximum control. Ingersoll Rand’s Quiet Technology helps reduce the sound of the tool, sparing your ears without sacrificing power.
