At Milwaukee Tool we are dedicated to understanding the issues and frustrations of transportation maintenance professionals. To create this solution, we spent hours observing automotive technicians to learn the obstacles they faced and how they needed to adapt. We saw that other flex head solutions did not provide professionals with a small enough arc swing to complete the application when working in tight access areas. We took these observations and developed a solution with a lock that was durable and easily actuated to provide simple adjustments and more maneuverability for the user. In addition, the flex head ratchets are designed with a screw on the flex joint so users can tighten the head when needed, increasing the lifetime of the tool.
