ISN Tool Dealer Expo 2014 educates attendees on products and resources

June 25, 2014
With the theme of the event “Learn, Profit, Energize,” thousands of attendees had the opportunity to educate themselves and find resources to benefit their business.

This year ISN Tool Dealer Expo 2014 marked the 15th event over the last 14 years. More than  1,200 distributor accounts with a total of 3,000 total guests were on-hand for this year’s Tool Dealer Expo in Orlando. Held at the Marriott World Center, the show featured products and product demonstrations from 147 key vendors.

“Tool Dealer Expo is a major show in the automotive aftermarket for vendors and distributors alike.  Because distributors can buy product, it makes this a huge opportunity for vendors to go all out with their product introductions, major booth presentations and best offers,” said Sarah Shelstrom, Director of Media and Public Relations for ISN. “Distributors come ready to fill inventory needs and learn about the new products from key suppliers to ensure the success of his business.  The anticipation from vendors and distributors alike is supported by our key goal for the event: Learn, Profit, Energize.”

Distributor resources and training events

The theme of this year’s Tool Dealer Expo “Learn, Profit, Energize” encouraged distributors to take advantage of all the resources and training events on hand.

Shelstrom advised vendors play a key role in helping distributors learn at the show.

“The vendors are key to the learning aspect.  They introduce new products, feature product demonstrations in their booth, offer training sessions and interact one on one with distributors,” said Shelstrom.

Tool Dealer Expo offered 26 training sessions from Launch, Robinair, Bartec, OTC, DeWalt, Autel, Sunex and many more participating vendors. ISN also hosted training sessions on the new MobileDealer.com website and “How to enhance your expo experience.”

Assistance with maximizing profits included having beneficial services on-hand to assist distributors with their business.

“Integrated Supply Network works with vendors like Allstate Insurance, Lease Corp of America and AllSoft to provide key services for distributors that will help them operate their business with efficiency and to manage and maximize profits,” said Shelstrom.

ISN also launched a new online resource exclusive to mobile distributors, MobileDealer.com. This site features product information, a skip trace feature, mobile dealer specific promotions and access to services like Lease Corp of America and ISN’s Freedom Program.

“Distributors attending Tool Dealer Expo leave energized.  They have the opportunity to network with other distributors, and meet one-on-one with key suppliers and their sales associates at ISN.”

More than 700 attendees also enjoyed the complimentary spa services, hosted by GearWrench.
