ISN opens Pacific Northwest distribution center

Aug. 27, 2015
Opened on Sept. 1, this 20,000-plus square foot facility will begin shipping one and two days across almost the entire western half of the United States.

To improve logistics and provide stronger customer service, Integrated Supply Network (ISN) added a location in Seattle. The company's 12th location solidifies ISN’s footprint on the West Coast, adding to the Phoenix, and West Sacramento and Fresno, Calif., locations.

Opened Sept. 1, this 20,000-plus square foot facility will ship one and two days across almost the entire western half of the United States.

As with all ISN distribution centers, Seattle is equipped with the latest in racking technology and storage solutions to maximize warehouse space. It is actively practicing lean formats and will begin by stocking more than 8,500 sku’s. These efficiency practices provide ISN customers with quicker receipt of their product. The Seattle distribution center will serve western Idaho, all of Washington and Oregon with same or next day shipping. Located at 21246 68th Avenue South, Building #1, in Kent, Wash., this distribution center is also equipped with a will-call center for local customers.

ISN is pleased to welcome Allen Polley to lead the newest distribution center. Polley is a certified Green Belt in Six Sigma and lean methodologies. Polley is an accomplished Kaizen leader with an extensive background in warehousing and distribution leadership spanning over 17 years which most recently includes Cardinal Health and United Stationers. Polley has been diligently preparing the newest location to serve tool and equipment distributors immediately with a grand opening on Sept. 1.
