After more than a decade apart, the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Pennsylvania (AASP-PA) and the Mid-Atlantic Auto Care Alliance (MAACA) are joining forces again. AASP-PA will dissolve at the end of 2024 and members will join MAACA.

As of Jan. 1, 2025, all AASP-PA members will continue their engagement through MAACA. In a joint statement, the organizations said members will have access to a broader spectrum of benefits, training programs, and community events, including annual highlights like T.O.O.L.S. and Super Saturday, which will remain cornerstones of training and networking. In addition, the association will have programs for its three divisions: mechanical, collision, and towing.

This decision to merge reflects a shared commitment to fostering a thriving environment for automotive service providers across the region.

"This is a monumental step forward," said Bret Fadely, president of AASP-PA. "By aligning with MAACA, we’re ensuring our members receive the best possible support, whether through enhanced training programs, chapter activities, or community-building events. Our industry is evolving quickly, and we must remain unified and proactive. This collaboration will allow us to do that effectively while strengthening our voice at the legislative level. I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together."

Sheri Hamilton, executive director of the Auto Care Alliance, said, "I am incredibly proud to have worked alongside the exceptional leaders of AASP-PA and MAACA over the past year to facilitate this landmark unification. Bringing these two dedicated organizations back together after more than a decade not only strengthens our community but also renews our collective commitment to supporting independent automotive service professionals in Pennsylvania. This collaboration is a testament to the power of unity in advancing our industry's growth and resilience, and I am eager to see the positive impact it will have on our members and the entire independent service sector."

David Wagner, president of MAACA, said, “Our team at MAACA is thrilled to welcome the AASP-PA community. This partnership strengthens our collective ability to serve the needs of independent automotive professionals across the region. Our shared mission is to elevate industry standards, foster growth opportunities and offer tools that help shop owners and service providers thrive. We’re eager to support our new members in Pennsylvania and build an even more vibrant community together."

Members can expect further details about the new benefits and resources available through MAACA within the coming weeks.

AASP-PA members can join now and receive membership through Dec. 31, 2025, for $430.

Mid-Atlantic Auto Care Alliance plans future chapter expansions throughout Pennsylvania and into their territories of Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware.
